Description:An OB/GYN Locum opportunity is available to support ongoing call coverage needs due to a lack of providers available to share the current call burden.This position offers hospital-based inpatient coverage in a rural practice setting.The physician must be comfortable managing a broad scope of obstetrical and gynecological care.Coverage is needed approximately 3 to 6 days per month.Candidates will provide 24-hour call coverage, with varying days of the week.The average daily patient volume is 2 to 5 patients, depending on census and acuity.This is a 100% inpatient/hospital-based practice, with trauma level I and II facilities.Candidates must be comfortable practicing independently with minimal supervision.The physician is required to manage routine deliveries and obstetric emergencies.Documentation is completed using an electronic medical record system.Fellowship training is not required for this position.
