Description:This position requires a physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.Responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient care, with an initial focus on hospital coverage.The physician will participate in call requirements, including three 24-hour shifts with 2-6 deliveries per shift.There may be occasional calls from the emergency department and backup from hospitalists.While call shifts are typically not in-house restricted, providers often remain onsite for their shifts.Duties will involve rounding and admissions as necessary.Required procedures include D&C, C-section, and other inpatient obstetrics and gynecology procedures.The department has an average of 50-75 deliveries per month.The candidate will work as part of a team with other obstetrics and gynecology providers.
