77 Consultants is seeking a contract OB/GYN physician for an on-site role in Dillon, SC. The position emphasizes delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care within a patient-centered environment.

The successful candidate will manage prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, perform gynecologic procedures, and collaborate with nurses and midwives. Board certification and a valid license are mandatory.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with OB/GYN board certification
• Licensed to practice medicine in good standing
• Experience in obstetric and gynecologic care at associate level
• DEA and CSR certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across ages
• Perform routine exams, screenings, and diagnostic procedures
• Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum care
• Conduct gynecologic procedures including minimally invasive surgeries
• Diagnose and treat reproductive health conditions
• Collaborate with nurses and midwives for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Provide emergency OB/GYN coverage as needed
• Counsel on family planning and contraception
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and professional standards

This on-site, contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients across the community. As a contract physician, you will bring essential clinical expertise to our practice, ensuring continuity of care and supporting our mission to provide exceptional medical services in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients of all ages
• Conduct routine gynecologic examinations, screenings, and diagnostic procedures
• Manage prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for expectant mothers
• Perform gynecologic procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries when required
• Diagnose and treat conditions related to the female reproductive system
• Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation
• Provide emergency obstetric and gynecologic coverage as needed
• Counsel patients on family planning, contraception, and reproductive health
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and professional standards

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or active candidacy in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license in good standing
• Experience in obstetric and gynecologic care at an associate level
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating reproductive health conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site medical environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotations and weekends as required
• Malpractice insurance coverage or ability to obtain it
• Additional Certifications: DEA and CSR

Schedule: 24-hour call

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 1-3 patients rounded on, 1-3 deliveries, 2-4 NST/observations

4 LDR beds

Patient Population: 15-70

Must be comfortable with vaginal deliveries, as well as cesarean deliveries

Circumcisions not required

EMR: Epic

Must be comfortable working independently

Board-certification required

Additional Certifications: DEA and CSR
