Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Make decisions regarding C-sections and manage complicated deliveries.
• Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
• Perform office procedures: IUD placements, cystoscopy, colposcopy, LEEP.
• Provide Level I ultrasound screening.

Description:We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for an outpatient clinic.The clinic operates Monday to Friday, offering 40 hours per week.Coverage is needed for 5-10 shifts per month from January to April.From April to at least October, 10-15 shifts per month will be required.The average patient encounters per shift is approximately 20.Providers will be required to have experience with low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.Key responsibilities include performing routine deliveries, including vaginal and C-section deliveries.The ability to make decisions regarding C-sections and manage complicated deliveries is essential.Skills in repairing 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations are required.Experience with office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD placements, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and LEEP is necessary.Surgical gynecology experience is preferred but not mandatory.Candidates must be able to perform Level I screening ultrasounds.The facility operates at a trauma level of 0.This position provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their career in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
