Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment seeks an experienced MD/DO physician to join our clinical team PRN at least 5 shifts per month, delivering primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will manage your own panel and build lasting relationships with patients and their families.

The role offers 6-hour morning shifts (7–10 a.m.), no on-call or overnights, charting from home, and a potential long-term retention incentive up to $50,000, plus full benefits for full-time.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day in skilled nursing facilities.
• Provide primary and episodic care to residents.
• Manage your own patient panel and build long-term relationships with patients and their families.
• Coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff to ensure seamless care.

About the Role

Your Day-to-Day

You'll see roughly 16–25 patients a day a mix of long-termchronic care and acute issues. That means annual wellness visits and H&Ps,managing chronic and co-morbid conditions, responding to acute changes,reviewing meds and orders, and coordinating with collaborating specialists andfacility staff to keep care seamless. You'll also stay in touch with familiesand join care conferences where it makes sense.
