Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced physician to join our clinical team in a full-time role providing primary and episodic care to skilled nursing facility residents.

You’ll manage your own panel with flexible 6-hour shifts and the option to chart from home, with earnings potential exceeding $300,000 and a retention incentive up to $50,000. Full benefits and modern tech support are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day, mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic and comorbid conditions.
• Respond to acute changes and coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff.
• Stay in touch with families and join care conferences where appropriate.

About the Role

Your Day-to-Day
