Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Physician Insurance Analyst 4 to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position with day shifts: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform duties of Physician Insurance Analyst 1-3 and provide training to new staff or updates to existing staff.
• Manage claims processing accurately and timely across all payer types, ensuring compliance with processing criteria.
• Handle appeals, check claim statuses, and analyze data trends, escalating issues as needed.
• Interpret CPT, ICD-10, and APC codes to optimize receivable performance.
• Document all account activity and handle correspondence appropriately.
• Participate actively in team meetings, lead projects, and assist with departmental reporting.
• Travel to Inova sites as required for claims processing.
• Utilize payer portals effectively and train new team members.
• Lead special projects related to claims and denials follow-up.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle operations, billing, collections, or related administrative support in physician billing.
