Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Physician Account Executive to grow current business and secure new accounts in diagnostics. The role covers the greater Jacksonville area and requires building relationships, presenting proposals, and managing sales cycles.

You will leverage data and resources, maintain product knowledge across connectivity offerings, and collaborate with the Physician Account Manager on complex issues while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years of sales or account ownership experience.
• Hunter mentality required.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.
• Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Laboratory/Diagnostics sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis and consistent follow-up
• Target and secure new business
• Provide overall support and expertise to new & existing accounts
• Increase discretionary business through insurance access
• Partner with Physician Account Manager on complex issues or when face-to-face or extensive service is required
• Provide immediate support for less complex issues
• Leverage all tools and resources (including data, sales portal, target lists; Marketing Department,Laboratory resources, and regional or national resources as needed)
• Maintain a breadth of knowledge of all connectivity products
• Prepare and present proposals andbids
• Ensure compliance with company polices and governmentregulations
• Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly andpromptly
