Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date.

Responsibilities

• Practice as part of a team under the direction of supervising physician.
• Examine patient and perform comprehensive physical examination.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Perform injections, suturing and wound care; manage infection.
• Develop and implement patient management plans; provide continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance.
• Assist in surgeries or procedures as applicable; first assist may be required.
• Document findings and discharge summaries; participate in admissions/discharges as needed.
