Job summary

You will mentor junior PAs, manage patient care plans, perform exams, order tests, and participate in performance improvement activities within a Labor/Management partnership environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience as a physician assistant in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Practice as part of a team under supervising physician.
• Examine patient and perform comprehensive physical exam.
• Order or administer diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Perform therapeutic procedures (injections, suturing, wound care).
• Develop and implement patient management plans and document progress.
• Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Possible first assist in surgeries and peri-operative duties.
• Support inpatient rounds and perioperative care.
• Assist in discharge planning and coordination with care teams.
