Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, team-based patient care under a supervising physician. Duties span office, hospital, ED and perioperative settings, including potential first assist in the OR and on-call responsibilities.

Evening or weekend hours may be required depending on department needs. Successful candidates will be PA graduates licensed in California with BLS, NPI, and PA National Certification.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date.
• California Physician Assistant License required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
• Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Practice as part of a team under the direction of a supervising physician.
• Examinations, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and develops patient management plans.
• Assist in perioperative care including possible First Assist in the OR.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions; handle on-call responsibilities as needed.
• Work in office, hospital, ED and/or perioperative settings with potential evening/weekend hours.
