Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to implement plans of care and serve as a resource to staff and students. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 for new grads and $2,500 for candidates with 1+ years of experience is offered, with relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree, BLS within 30 days, and board eligibility to complete the next exam date. You will educate patients and coordinate with PTs, documenting progress daily.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (IDFPR) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Board Eligible/Required to complete board exam on next available date; continue required CE courses.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care; communicates changes to evaluating PT and documents in daily note.
• Produces documentation per Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67).
• Completes annual education as assigned to comply with program requirements.
