Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the applicable state.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Board eligible and able to complete the board exam at next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and documents communications and progress.
• Completes daily documentation and uses the EMR for charging and records.
• Coordinates with the PT on patient treatment interventions and progress.
