Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) to join our teams in Skilled Nursing Facilities across NYC and surrounding areas. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver PT services and educate patients and families to improve function and cognition.

We offer direct employment with our agency or the option to be your own boss as an Independent Contractor, plus assistance with setting up a corporation. Weekly pay and other benefits are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Current NYS PTA License and Registration.
• EMR competence.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with PT Supervisor and follow the established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, addressing TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnoses.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the EMR system.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Flagstar Rehab offers the opportunity for Direct Employment with our agency OR to Be Your Own Boss as an Independent Contractor.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.


• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
