Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services, LLC is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant for an in-house skilled nursing facility in North Platte, NE. This full-time position offers a $5,000 sign-on/relocation bonus along with flexible scheduling options including part-time or PRN.

Responsibilities include assisting the Physical Therapist, performing screenings, and delivering group and individual therapies to residents, with emphasis on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings to determine need for intervention and treatment.
• Assist in evaluating and setting goals and treatment plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Deliver individual and group treatment targeting strength, mobility, gait, balance, and ROM.
• Assist in selecting techniques/media and adapt as needed in consultation with the PT.
• Monitor patient responses and modify plans with the PT guidance.
• Coordinate schedules with the PT and care team to optimize productivity and care.
