Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services, LLC in North Platte, NE is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support in-house skilled nursing facility therapy services. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will conduct screenings, assist in treatment plans, and help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence.

Licensure and ongoing CEUs are required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist in evaluating residents and developing treatment plans with the PT.
• Monitor residents’ response to intervention and modify plan as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Educate residents, families and staff on therapy techniques.
