TransPerfect Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents in a Senior Living and Skilled Nursing setting. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with supervising PT, and documentation through Net Health.

You will work as part of a team under OBRA guidelines, contributing to care planning, MD orders, and ongoing program development, with competitive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope after physician order and evaluation
• Improve residents' functionality and skills

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation


• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients


• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health


• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements


• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.


• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines


• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures


• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
