Qualifications

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of the therapy equipment used.
• Knowledge of patient needs and safety.
• Ability to complete in-service training.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record patient conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Assist patients with heat/ice packs, paraffin, pool, and exercises; monitor motion.
• Ensure operation of treatment equipment; perform basic maintenance.
• Educate patients on proper use of equipment and routines.
• Prepare patients for therapy and assist during sessions.
• Provide information to patients and address questions; alleviate fears.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety; keep a clean, organized environment.
• Provide and stock equipment; sterilize and deliver to treatment area; assist with setup.
• Front desk support and scheduling responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other front desk duties as required.
