Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Lansing, MI is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support patient care and gain hands-on healthcare skills. You will work with licensed therapists, assist with treatment setup, and help patients during rehabilitation.

The role offers on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and exposure to physical and occupational therapy workflows. You will prepare treatment areas, assist with exercises, monitor progress, and support accurate check‑in and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments
• Promote efficient patient intake and registration and assist clinicians with scheduling
• Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing forms
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and setting up exercise equipment
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support home exercise programs
