Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our collaborative team in delivering exceptional patient care. You will gain hands-on training, mentor-ship, and direct exposure to physical therapy while supporting patients' recovery.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting with intake and scheduling, onboarding new patients, and helping prepare treatment areas and equipment. You will monitor progress and support home exercise programs, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
Must be 18+ years old.
Healthcare and/or customer service experience required.
Preferred: healthcare experience in PT/tech roles.
Certified Personal Trainer experience is a plus.
Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
