Description
The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, performing evaluations, and developing and administering treatment plans for a variety of outpatient conditions. This full-time position offers flexible hours at our Anytime Fitness location in Farmington. Viverant Physical Therapy is part of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, committed to giving patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate and treat outpatient conditions in consultation with physicians.
- Occasionally evaluate and treat outpatient conditions under direct access.
- Apply therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and other treatments in accordance with state practice acts.
- Use therapy services lawfully and ethically during treatments.
- Document patient care services following regulatory and departmental guidelines.
- Supervise a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) if required.
- Collaborate with physicians, managers, and staff across the organization.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Maintain a flexible schedule based on clinic needs, including variable shifts and multiple locations.
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and share knowledge with staff and community.
- Engage in community outreach events related to Viverant.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program; Bachelor's Degree required, Master's or Doctorate preferred.
- Active Minnesota state license in Physical Therapy.
- Women's Health experience preferred.
