Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Physical Therapy field of study required.
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) - IDFPR.
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA.
Attend and satisfactorily complete continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

Performs patient transfers with appropriate body mechanics to reduce injury risk.
Treats patients with empathy and respect, engaging fully with those needing service.
Designs and adjusts plan of care to meet goals and outcomes.
Educates patients, families, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes of care.
Performs examinations with reliable methods and documents results in EMR.
Screens patients to determine therapy needs and effectiveness.
