Qualifications

• Must be licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in IL/IDFPR
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA
• Attend CEUs for acute stroke care

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers with proper body mechanics and safety
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes
• Completes examinations and documentation per policy
• Communicates progress and treatment recommendations with referring providers
