Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across the care continuum. You will develop and modify plans of care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities include exams, documentation in the therapy EMR, and ensuring safe patient transfers. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing per state regulatory authority.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with orthopedic/neurologic needs.
• Design and adjust plans of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers; document in EMR.
• Perform patient transfers with safe body mechanics and proper technique.
• Communicate progress and treatment recommendations with referring providers.
