NORTH TEXAS THERAPY & HOMECARE in Prosper, TX is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide pediatric home health services 2+ times weekly, per physician orders. You will evaluate motor impairments and tailor interventions for ages 0–21, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include documenting outcomes, educating families and staff, and supervising assistants as needed. A DPT with TX licensure and pediatric experience is required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• Graduate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice PT in Texas.
• Pediatrics experience required; 6 weeks of pediatric OT (as internship) for new grads.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in home or daytime facility for patients 0–21 years old, 2+ times per week per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of impairment using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to plan goals and instruct team in PT modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Certified Physical Therapy Assistants.

Requirements

• Graduate degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy
• License to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required (New grads must have a minimum of 6 weeks of pediatric OT experience - can include internship)
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define the patients degree and type of physical and gross motor impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific physical therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with the total physical therapy program
• May provide supervision to Certified Physical Therapy Assistants
