Vale Healthcare Center is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents within a supportive, professional environment. The role offers a salary range of $104,000–$124,000 per year with per diem/on‑call opportunities.

Requires California license and a PT degree; one year of clinical experience preferred, new graduates welcome. Benefits include PTO and referral bonuses, and a sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Must hold California license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment according to established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge environments.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
