Job summary

Fremont Healthcare Center is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, plan and administer treatment for residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues, within a supportive team environment.

California license required; one year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome). Per diem/on-call role with a salary range of $104,000 - $124,000 and a sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
