Job summary

Monterey Palms Healthcare Center is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions in our facility.

The role offers a salary range of $99,840 to $124,800 annually, with full- or part-time options and a sign-on bonus. California license is required, and we value a supportive, team-focused environment for residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Physical Therapy (B.S., M.S., or D.P.T.).
• California licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers and interprets tests for muscle strength, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory function.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records and completes required forms.
• conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge of residents.

Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care..
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
