Job summary

Hayward Hills Healthcare Center is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions in a supportive work environment.

The role requires a CA license and a degree in Physical Therapy, with new graduates welcome and up to one year of clinical experience preferred. Per diem/on-call schedule and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• CA license to practice Physical Therapy.
• New graduates welcome; 1 year clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for strength, coordination, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment according to an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Performs home assessments to ensure safe discharge environments.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
