Monterey Palms Healthcare Center in California is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT). The role involves evaluating and treating residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues, and providing care per established plans of care.

We offer a competitive salary of $104,000 to $124,000 per year on a per diem/on-call basis, plus a sign-on bonus. Active California PT license required; new graduates welcome. PTO and referral bonuses are part of the benefits package.

Qualificações

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy as required.
• Current California license to practice PT.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Interprets tests and measurements of strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Delivers direct resident treatment per plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to support safe discharge.
• Completes forms and documents per policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
