Job summary

Palm Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues, following an established plan of care in a supportive, community-focused setting in Palm Springs, CA.

The position offers a competitive salary range and per diem/on-call arrangement, with benefits including PTO and referral bonuses. New graduates welcome; California license is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Physical Therapy (BSc/MSc/PhD).
• CA license to practice Physical Therapy.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:
