Job summary

La Crescenta Healthcare Center is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our caring team. You will evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal concerns, administer tests, and implement care plans in a supportive environment.

Qualified candidates hold a PT degree (BS/MS/PhD) and a California license; one year experience preferred though new graduates are welcome. We offer PTO, referral bonuses, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues
• Administers and interprets tests for muscle strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency
• Provides direct resident treatment per established plan of care and maintains confidentiality
• Conducts home assessments to support safe discharge and completes required forms per policy and regulations

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
