Rehab Associates of Central Virginia Inc seeks a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our growing outpatient team in Virginia. You will assess patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and provide direct care per established protocols, collaborating with physicians and insurers.

Qualifications

CAPTE-accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
Current CPR certification.
Outpatient orthopedic care experience or interest.
Ability to develop individualized outpatient plans.
Capable of working independently with a diverse caseload.
Strong communication and patient education skills.
Proficient with EMR systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
Review the Physician's referral and patient records to determine PT needs.
Provides direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
Oversees patient care performed by assistants and rehab technicians.
Completes a written plan of care and develops goals and a comprehensive program.
Implements PT treatments and essential therapies.
Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
Ensure timely documentation and reports.
