Job summary

Rehab Associates of Central Virginia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Central Virginia. You will assess patients, design and implement treatment plans, and document progress following physician referrals and established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Virginia license or ability to obtain Virginia license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review the Physician's referral and patient's condition to determine required physical therapy.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care and develop goals and a comprehensive program.
• Implement therapy and provide essential treatments.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and reports.
