Job summary

Rehab Associates in Virginia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our 19 outpatient clinics. You will assess patients, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and document care according to established guidelines.

Qualifications

Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
Experience or interest in outpatient orthopedic care.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Review referrals and determine the required physical therapy treatment.
Provide direct patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
Document findings, progress and instructions to patients and caregivers.
Oversee care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
Create a written plan of care with goals and a comprehensive program.
Implement treatment programs and essential PT treatments.
Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and reports.
