Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist for their outpatient rehabilitation department in Lewiston, ME. This full-time role offers a Monday-Friday days schedule with 8-hour shifts and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate in Physical Therapy required.
• Current state Physical Therapy license required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Pay Transparency: Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40 .00 to $ 50.01 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
