Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist in Lewiston, Maine for full-time outpatient rehab. New graduates welcome with mentorship; sign-on available. Workdays are Monday–Friday with 8-hour day shifts, in a hospital-based outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.
