Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient care. New graduates welcome; experienced PTs encouraged to apply. Full-time, days, Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, provide therapeutic exercise and gait training, and educate patients and families. You’ll collaborate with physicians, document in EMR, and benefit from mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Educational degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active PT license in the state.
• BCLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Education

Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate in Physical Therapy

Current state Physical Therapy license

Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire

Pay Transparency: Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40 .00 to $ 50.01 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
