Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking new graduate physical therapists for a full-time outpatient role. Experienced PTs are encouraged to apply as well, with a Monday–Friday, 8-hour day schedule.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and manual therapy. Documentation in EMR and collaboration with the care team are required, with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Pay Transparency: Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40 .00 to $ 50.01 per hour.
