Location: Wichita, KS

Facility: Ascension Via Christi, Rehabilitation Hospital

Department/Speciality: Physical Therapy - Inpatient

Schedule: Day Shift & Full‑time | Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Rotating weekend and holidays.

Sign‑on bonus: $10,000

Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans that empower patients and their families to achieve their specific recovery goals.
• Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments to ensure every clinical intervention is tailored to their unique needs.
• Perform evidence‑based therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and enhance their overall quality of life.
• Lead and mentor support personnel, including assistants and students, to maintain a high standard of collaborative care across the rehab team

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
