Job summary

Ascension Living HOPE in Wichita, KS is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, day-shift role in the Therapy department. You will assess patients, design and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate patients and families about deficits.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assess patient's ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills. Design the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Document findings of patient progress.
• Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed. Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Drivers License preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
