Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and create individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehabilitation staff while adhering to Mercy Service Standards.

Education required includes a Bachelor/Master of Science in Physical Therapy or a DPT, with current licensure. BLS certification must be current, and six months to one year of rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold ongoing licensure as a Physical Therapist in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required and must be current before care can be provided independently.
• Experience in adult and geriatric rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervise rehabilitation technicians.
• Oversee PT assistants under State Practice Acts and follow Mercy Service Standards.
