Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients directly and rehabilitation staff while following Mercy standards and the department's policies.

The role requires a PT degree (BS/MS/ DPT) and a current license, with BLS certification and 6 months to 1 year of preferred experience in rehab care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Six months to one year experience preferred; focus on adult/geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Supervise patients directly and rehabilitation technicians indirectly; oversee PT assistants as per state practice acts.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and Mercy Service Standards while delivering care.
