Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under clinical supervision. You will oversee patients directly and rehabilitation staff indirectly, ensuring alignment with Mercy standards and state practice acts.

Education includes a Bachelor, MS in Physical Therapy or DPT, with a current license in the practicing state and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in the state.
• BLS certification must be current before caring for patients independently.
• Six months to one year preferred experience in Rehabilitation PT; adult/geriatric care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants per state acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values and service standards; participate in care planning and care delivery.
