Job summary

Mercy is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and design individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehabilitation staff, ensuring care adheres to state practice acts and Mercy standards. Licensure must be current; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current/temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s, MSPT, or DPT as applicable per Mercy requirements.
• BLS certification must be current before patient care without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants as applicable.
• Ensure care aligns with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
