Job summary

Mercy seeks a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehabilitation staff, in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Preferred candidates have 6–12 months of rehab PT experience and a current BLS certification. Licensure in the state of practice is required for independent patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required and must be current before independent patient care.
• Preferred: 6 months to 1 year experience in rehabilitation PT; experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values and service standards.
