Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our patient-centered team. You will provide physical therapy services, conduct evaluations, and use modalities to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities include supervising and guiding assigned staff, coordinating care with therapists and other clinicians, and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes within a supportive,

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA required

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
