Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services to a diverse patient population. You will evaluate, treat, and help restore function across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients while supporting a collaborative care environment.

The role requires a degree in Physical Therapy (BS/MS/DPT), an active Georgia license or compact privileges, and BCLS certification. CEU maintenance is expected to ensure ongoing compliance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges in Georgia.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA required.
• Maintain CEUs as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assessing and treating to restore function and relieve pain.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to prevent disability.
• Provides patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• May supervise and orient assigned staff and provide guidance as needed.

Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required


• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required


• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
