Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services to a diverse patient population in Augusta, GA. You will conduct evaluations, apply modalities, and develop treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain.

The role includes caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to program growth. A Georgia PT license and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT required.
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including pediatric, adult and geriatric; may supervise orientation and guidance of assigned staff.
