Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for full-time work in Fayetteville, GA. The role provides therapy services to diverse patient populations across pediatrics to geriatrics, with evaluations, modalities, and treatments aimed at restoring function and reducing pain.

The therapist will supervise assistants and may guide staff orientation, supporting a collaborative care model in a dynamic hospital setting.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist, FT, Piedmont Fayette Hospital, 5000K SOB

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
